About

Mission Statement

The Home Missions Committee (CHEX) and the RHM serve the church and Presbytery by God’s grace, establishing places where the gospel is taught and believed, and where groups can be founded according to the rich expression of the Reformed Faith. All is done for the honor of God and the good of our neighbors!

What Are We Seeking To Do?

We hope, by the Lord’s grace, to start Bible studies, new groups, and church plants in the region of our Presbytery—which includes Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan—bringing honor and praise to the Lord and benefit to all sorts of people.

The gospel, or “good news,” of God’s marvelous work in Jesus Christ is central to these groups. The Bible informs and re-forms our work. We desire to reach out to both non-Christians and Christians, with Jesus as the centerpiece of our life and ministry. Our goal is to “reach out to the lost while not losing the reached.” We aim to start studies and plant confessionally committed churches that patiently and lovingly disciple people in the Reformed faith, cultivating faith communities of love and faithfulness that reach out wisely and patiently to our own communities.

Who Are We?

We are members and servants of the Lord, first and foremost. We are leaders and servants of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), a Bible-believing community that has existed for nearly 100 years. The OPC is known for its thoughtful approach to the Christian faith and is renewing its zeal for reaching those who do not know Jesus.
